"Remember your creator in the days of your youth." Ecc 12:1
This verse is a plea to all of us to remember our creator while young. Notice how it says, "remember YOUR CREATOR"... It is not about some distant god. It is not just about the God who rules the universe. It is about the one who created you, yes you in person. His hands formed you. He brought you into existence. You were nothing but he spoke you into existence and this verse is a reminder for you to remember Him who made you; to come to Him and say, “Here I am. I want to find out why you made me. I want to know the purpose you had in mind when you created me.
That purpose should govern your life. That purpose He had in mind when he created you should also be your purpose in life. Remember Him now, go to Him, talk to Him, and learn from Him. He said, “Learn from me” Matt 11:31. He formed you. As the clay is in the hands of the potter so are you in his hands. He has engraved you on the palms of his hands. He owns you. He has a patent on you.
Remember your creator,
