Have you ever noticed that Jesus said that He is the TRUTH and not just truthful in John 14:6. You see, truthful is what you become when you have the TRUTH. That is us. But Him? He is the TRUTH. If you take the TRUTH away from the truthful, the truthful is no longer truthful. But, there is absolutely nothing you can do to take the TRUTH away from the TRUTH. No matter what happens, the TRUTH remains the TRUTH. Can you take me away from myself? No way. You can wash the dirty to wash the dirt away and it will be clean. But try washing the dirt. It will still be dirt. Dirt is dirt no matter how many times you wash it.
By the same token, the TRUTH is the TRUTH no matter what you do to Him. Accept Him or deny Him, He is still the TRUTH
Glorify Him or crucify Him, He is still the TRUTH
Praise Him or ridicule Him, He is still the TRUTH
Crown him with many crowns or Crown Him with thorns, He is still the TRUTH
