“Whatever your hand finds to do, do it with all your might” Ecc 9:11
This is a verses from the Old Testament. If you ask me what this verse talks about, It talks about passion in whatever you do. It doesn’t try to define what you should do but it tells you how you should do whatever it is that you decide to do.
This also goes for our walk with Christ, the point being if you choose to follow Christ, do it with passion. Following Christ should be done out of conscious choice and determination; not out of tradition, peer pressure or anything else. Otherwise, it won't be as exciting as it is supposed to be. One of the most boring things I can tell you is Christianity without passion. That is why a lot of people today get the impression that Christianity is boring. They look at Christians that have no passion but tradition. Christianity definitely is boring if you don’t do it with passion. For that matter anything you do without passion tends to be boring. What makes anything boring or exciting is your level of interest and your level of passion. I find hockey boring and I just don’t understand why millions of people find it exciting. But I know that is only because I have no passion for hockey at all. Talk about soccer I can literally stay up all night watching it.
We need to make up our mind about Christ and Christianity and follow him with passion.
