I want-I want-I want

Did you read the subject line? It is an accurate description of the generation we live in. I heard about a survey that was sent out to people who make exactly $25K per year. One of the questions of the survey was “How much do you have to make in order to be satisfied?”. The average response was 50K. Then they sent the same survey to people who make exactly 50K. This time the average response was 100K.

The simple conclusion from this survey is that money never delivers what it promises. Money is not everything according to those who have it.

Do yourself a favor. Resist the ordinary. Be different. Defy the culture. Show contentment. Be thankful.

Contentment is an attitude. Wear it. Forget the I-want-I-want-I-want mentality and say: “The Lord is my Shepherd, I shall not want”.

Blessings,

The Cyber Evangelist
