Christianity is like a circle with Christ at the centre. If you are a Christian picture yourself in the circle and there are two important questions you should ask yourself.
- How close am I to the centre?
- Which direction am I moving? Towards or away from the centre?
There are two types of people in this circle. There are those who do everything they can to be as close to the centre as possible. The other ones are those who say: How far can I stay away from the centre without leaving the circle. This is a typical backslider mentality (Yeminalebet kristianoch). Not only does the backslider get his wish of staying away from the centre, he finally ends up outside the circle where the devil is prowling around seeking whom he may devour.
Moses said to the Israelites “But if from there you seek the LORD your God, you will find him, if you look for him with all your heart and with all your soul.”Deu 4:29. The only condition he gave them is this: If you look for Him with all your heart and with all your soul regardless of where you are right now.
It does not matter how far away you are from the centre; if from there you seek the LORD your God, you will find him, if you look for him with all your heart and with all your soul.
